To our Guests of The Darling Hotel and Elderwood Restaurant & Lounge,
Needless to say, it has been an eventful first year-and-a-half for The Darling & Elderwood. We appreciate the dedicated support of all of our guests and patrons who have made our first year a success. Now that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the pandemic, we would like to provide you with the following update to our Covid-19 procedures.
As of February 15th, 2022, California officially lifted its mask mandate. For staff and guests who are fully vaccinated, masks are no longer required to be worn inside or outside our hotel and restaurant. We are still requiring our unvaccinated staff to wear masks while inside. For guests who are not vaccinated, we ask that you please continue to wear masks while indoors. We also understand there are many who may feel more comfortable continuing to wear masks regardless of their vaccination status; we encourage and welcome this as well.
For our guests who are staying two nights or more, rooms are being serviced every day. Guests who would like to decline housekeeping service during their stay may do so.
Our continued goal is still to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our hotel, restaurant, and public spaces. We continually update our policies & procedures to reflect the most current state, local, and CDC guidelines.
