How can I book?
You can book directly on our website or contact us by phone. By contacting the hotel you are sure to get the most advantageous rate and have access to all available rooms.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3:00pm and Check-out is 11:00am.
Can I check-in early?
Yes, early check-in is available for an additional fee. Please contact our Guest Services team at (559) 713-2113 after you make a reservation to add-on early check-in.
Can I check-out later?
Yes, later check-out is available for an additional fee. Please contact our Guest Services team at (559) 713-2113 after you make a reservation to add-on later check-out.
Is The Darling a pet friendly hotel?
Unfortunately, no. The Darling is not a pet-friendly property. If you have a registered service dog, please contact our Guest Services team for more information at (559) 713-2113.
Is there a workspace in the guestrooms or suites?
A few of our King Suites and Executive Suites have a small desk. Please let the Guest Services team know if you’d like a suite with a desk, and we will do our best to accommodate your request based on room availability.
Is there a gym?
Yes, we have a Fitness Center with cardio equipment and free weights.
Is there room service?
Yes, you can place a room service order with our rooftop restaurant, Elderwood, by phone at (559) 713-2114. Menus can be found online at elderwoodvisalia.com.
Do you offer third party authorization?
Yes, you can use another party’s authorized card to pay for your stay! Please use the PDF linked below to download, complete, and submit a third-party credit card authorization form prior to arrival.
I need to modify or cancel a reservation. Who should I contact?
To modify or cancel a reservation, use the same method used to book. This is particularly important for reservations made through intermediaries (Expedia, Booking.com etc…); please use their internet platforms directly or communicate directly with the call center of the intermediary with whom you made the reservation.
Booking directly with The Darling Hotel offers a 48 hour cancellation period.
Do you have a reservation waitlist?
Yes, if your desired dates of stay are unavailable we do have a waitlist and will notify you should rooms become available. Please contact our Guest Services Team by phone at (559) 713-2113 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I check-in?
Our Hotel Lobby is located on the Second Floor of the building. Our secure parking lot gate will be locked, but you can pull off into the loading zone on Court Street, and head up the stairs to the second floor lobby.
Where do we park?
Directly at the hotel; we have our own parking lot (some fees apply, upon reservation).
If you do not wish to pay for parking, we have a complimentary public lot across from the hotel on Oak Street.
